My favorite recipe is POUNDO A.K.A pounded yam with eggusi soup A.K.A Mellon soup, garnished with dried cat fish , the soup should be soaked with red oil.
Incase you don’t know what POUNDO/pounded yam is; it’s a Nigerian swallow food native to the Ebira, Yoruba, Igbo, Tiv and and the Okun ethnic groups.
It is a traditional food. It is prepared by pounding boiled yam with a mortar and pestle. Pounded yam is similar to mashed potatoes but heavier.

And eggusi soup is a thick West African soup made with ground melon seeds, typically also containing leaf vegetables and meat or fish.
Rice and chicken are is a foreign food made with many delicacies and many people enjoy eating it. Rice is a special food mostly for special occations like weddings, naming, burial e.t.c.
